John L Lisee

John Lawrence Lisee, 80, of Kimball Twp., passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025 surrounded by his family after a short illness. He was born December 31, 1944, in Marine City, to the late Lawrence and Cecilia Lisee. John married Terry Stahl on February 6, 1965 in Detroit.

John was employed for many years as a brakeman for the Port Huron and Detroit Railroad. He later was employed for Collins and Aikman manufacturing until his retirement. He was a lifelong sports enthusiast. He enjoyed fishing, coaching Little League and Babe Ruth baseball and played softball into his 60s.

John is survived by his wife of 60 years, Terry; children, Shelly (David) Lynch and Michael Lisee; grandchildren, Megan Lynch, David Lynch, Brandee Lisee and Kylee Lisee; 5 great-grandchildren, Amelia, Ryder, Axel, Maxx and Maddox; brother Joseph Lisee, and several nieces and nephews.

Private family services have been held.
