Donna M Ross

Donna Mary Ross, 79, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, June 1, 2025.

She was born January 14, 1946 in Warrington, England to the late Donald and Mary Gildenpfennig. She married Robert A. Ross on January 7, 1966 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2021.

Donna managed several area apartment complexes and was a foster grandparent with the Council on Aging. She enjoyed diamond dot art, cooking, baking and canning. She was a member of Blue Water Christian Church for over 60 years.

She is survived by her children, Lewis (Judith) Ross, Rob (Jessica) Ross, Sheri (Steve) Hale and Kathleen (Dave) Gilliam; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Harold and Donald Gildenpfennig; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her children, Cynthia Ross and Terri Rising.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025 in Blue Water Christian Church, 1331 Chestnut St., Port Huron with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Bruce Clark will officiate. A luncheon will immediately follow.
