Linda M Sturdevan

Linda Marie Sturdevan, 77, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, June 24, 2025.

She was born December 22, 1947 in Port Huron to the late James and Eva Feher. She married James Sturdevan on June 20, 1969 in Port Huron.

Linda graduated from Port Huron Catholic High School in 1966. She was employed as a lunch supervisor with the Port Huron Area School District at Michigamme Elementary for 33 years prior to her retirement. Family meant everything to Linda and she cherished her time spent with her grandchildren and attended all of their activities. Linda enjoyed playing the lottery, bingo, bowling and played a mean hand of euchre and tonk. She also loved shopping, camping, watching the Detroit Tigers and Pistons and touring the national parks. Linda was an exceptional cook and baker and was known for her famous chocolate chip cookies and lasagna. She was a longtime member of St. Stephen Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James; two daughters, Lisa (Ken) Schram and Laurie (Matthew) Hoxsie; three grandchildren, Alex Schram, Noah Hoxsie and Elenah Hoxsie; sister-in-law, Cindy Feher; and many nieces and nephews, including Susan (John) Roche, Dennis (Kim) Will Jr. and Terry (Wendy) Will, who were like children to her. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty (Dennis Sr.) Will, Dennis Feher, Louis (Sharon) Feher Sr. and Larry Feher.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Inurnment will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery Columbarium, Port Huron.
