Glazier E Kanthack

Glazier Kanthack, 76, of Battle Creek, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

She was born on August 5, 1948 in Pontiac to the late Frank and Evelyn Weakland.

Glazier was known for her bright spirit, playful humor, and the love she poured into her family. Whether she was enjoying a quiet day fishing, camping under the stars, or delighting in the colorful celebration of the balloon festival, she found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her unique sense of humor-especially when chasing after kids and making them laugh-will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Jeri A. Gibson; three brothers, Ray (Roxanne) Weakland, Gary Weakland, and Perry Weakland; three cherished grandchildren, Nikkos Gage Kanthack, Haley Kanthack, and Cierra Kanthack; and her treasured great-grandchild, Chevy Kanthack.

In addition to her parents, Glazier was preceded in death by her two sons, Thomas B. Kanthack and William E. Kanthack.

Glazier will be buried with her family in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Another memorial event will be announced at a later date.
