Kimberly S Willard

Kimberly Susan Willard, 64, of Clyde Township, died Saturday, July 12, 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She was born May 15, 1961 to the late Kenneth “Kenny” and Jacqulyn “Jackie” Kern. She married her childhood sweetheart, William “Bill” Willard in June of 1984, and through the many ups and downs of life, Bill and Kim found their way back to each other on October 15, 2012.

Kimberly loved cooking and canning, especially for her husband Bill. She loved spending time by the fire whether it was next to the fireplace or at a bonfire, and her spirit mimicked this.

Even with her strong personality and brutal honesty, she was a kindred spirit to those who were struggling, having endured many struggles herself. She loved her husband “my friend, my love,” kids, grandsons, and her dog, Luna.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Bill; three daughters, Carrie (Rick) McGill, Jacqulyn (Amie) Nolan-Needham, and Kelly Johnson; four grandsons, Grant McGill, Elliott and Noah Nolan-Needham, and Matthew Johnson; her siblings, Linda Drummy, Cindy (Bob) Devon, Audrey Shamblin, Tony Kern, and Nicole Verlinich; sister-in-law, Debbie Kern; mother-in-law, Phillis Decker; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Kern and her brother-in-law Brian Drummy.
