Susan D Conroy

Susan Darlene Conroy, 71, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord Monday, July 14, 2025.

She was born September 17, 1953 in Port Huron to the late Curtis P. and Gloria E. Hunt.

Susan was a light to everyone around her. She was a graduate of Port Huron High School and was employed at the St. Clair County ISD for many years. She was a member of Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles, Moose Lodge #158 and V.F.W. Charles Schoor Post #796. Susan loved playing dice games, spending time with her family and friends and going on annual canoeing trips.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Heather (Mitchell) McCleary; grandson, John Patrick Conroy; five great grandchildren, Cali, Cruz, Cloe, Cora and Cade; five siblings, Dave (Sherry) Hunt, Joanne Houle, Pat (Sue) Hunt, Jane (Brian) Withun and Doug (Laura) Hunt; daughter-in-law, Lisa Gorrell; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and numerous very close friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick; brother-in-law, Ron Houle; and nephew, Buck Houle.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, July 20, 2025 in Blue Water Aerie #3702 Fraternal Order of Eagles, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
