Janet M Turnbull

Janet Marie Turnbull, 91, of Marysville, died Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

She was born April 5, 1934 in Albion to the late Inez and Clarence Raymond, and after her father’s death was lovingly raised by Clyde Raymond. She married James Turnbull on February 20, 1953 in Albion. He preceded her in death on February 9, 2010 after 56 years of marriage.

Janet enjoyed solving puzzles, doing cross-stitch and playing cards and games with her children and grandchildren, who were the joys of her life.

She is survived by four sons, Mark (Diane) Turnbull, Scott (Vicki) Turnbull, David (Kay) Turnbull and Michael (Debbie) Turnbull; a daughter, Julaine (Todd) Steele; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Ritz; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce Morgan.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
