Mary Anne Martin

Mary Anne Martin, 73, of Marysville, died Monday, July 21, 2025.

She was born February 17, 1952 in Boulder, Colorado to the late Joseph and Helen Senftleben.

Mary Anne held many roles throughout her life-working at Sears, in childcare, as a pharmacy technician, and in home care. No matter the job, she was known for her strong work ethic and spirited personality. Spunky and feisty, Mary Anne brought energy to everything she did.

She had a passion for cooking and baking, always eager to feed those around her. Music brought her joy, and her big heart made her especially wonderful with children-many of whom called her "Bushia." A social butterfly, Mary Anne had a warm smile and a twinkle in her eye and cherished time with friends. She also had a special fondness for Polish pottery that she passed along to her daughters, granddaughter, and all who knew her.

She is survived by three daughters, Kerri Martin, Kristi Martin and Kimi Martin (Nick Joseph); granddaughter, Lillith Tack; former husband and lifetime friend, Raymond Martin; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Judith Ranieri.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, September 27, 2025 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visiting beginning at 11:30 am. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Following the Mass, the family will hold a memorial event to celebrate Mary Anne’s life at the Marysville Community Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair County Council on Aging.
