Garey L Gubanche

Garey Lee Gubanche, 77, of Port Huron, died on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

He was born February 21, 1948 in Port Huron to the late Joseph and Marion Gubanche.

He married Emilie Eagle in1975 in Port Huron.

Garey honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as an operator at Mueller Brass for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time.

He is survived by his wife, Emilie; son, Garey Gubanche; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters Mable Wolfe and Joanne Hinson; brothers Richard and Eldon Gubanche.

The family would like to extend a thank you to Garey’s wonderful caretaker, Stephanie.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2025 in Woodland Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Marine Corps and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the St. County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
