Ryan S Levin

December 7th, 1979 to July 25th, 2025

Ryan Shawn Levin, 45, of Kimball Township, died after a short battle with cancer on Friday, July 25, 2025 surrounded by his family.

He was born December 7, 1979 in Port Huron to the late Richard and Nancy Levin. Ryan married Katherine “Katie” Lange on June 25, 2016 in Port Huron.

Ryan graduated from Port Huron High School in 1998 and then St. Clair County Community College. He worked at Lumberjack for many years, and for the past 10 years has been employed in the sales department of Marshall E. Campbell Company.

Ryan had a love of playing hockey that began in his youth, and continued until he hung up his skates and passed his passion on to his son. He was an avid Detroit sports fan, especially of the Red Wings. He also enjoyed bowling and attending concerts. Above all, Ryan loved being a dad and spending time with his five-year-old son, Grayson, whether they were hanging out at home, heading to the rink, or going on an adventure.

He is survived by his wife, Katie; son, Grayson; three brothers, Jonathan L. Howe, Jason P. (Amanda) Howe, and Jared R. (Addie) Levin; nephew and niece, Tyler and Rylee Howe; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Karen and David Barber; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many wonderful friends including Brett Corbishley and Cameron Grenstiner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Janice Levin and Al and Kathleen Novak.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2025 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Mark Huff will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
