Judith Ann Fenner
Judith Ann Fenner, 85, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
She was born August 14, 1939 in Port Huron to the late George and Betty Bond. Judy graduated from Port Huron High School in 1958 and married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Jerry, shortly afterwards. They were married for 22 years until his death. Judy met James Fenner through mutual friends and they were married in November 1980 at Grace Episcopal Church.
Judy enjoyed the outdoors and loved time spent in the U.P. at the Two-Hearted River and Rainbow Lodge. A self-proclaimed “rock hound”, part of the reason she loved northern Michigan so much was the beautiful rocks she could find add to her collection. Judy could often be found feeding the neighborhood animals and birds, and loved her pet cats fiercely. She was also a lover of books, A&W root beer, fish and chips, the color blue, and sending handwritten letters.
She is survived by her husband, James; son, Frank (Nancy) Fenner; son-in-law, Mark Buckley; grandchildren, Jaylynn (John) Hogeboom, Marlie (Josh) Witter, Thomas Buckley, Shianna Fenner, Jackson Fenner, Jacob Fenner, Lauren Martin and Jimmy Martin; great granddaughter, Mayberry; a brother, David (Gail) Bond; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved cats, Reginald, Jasper and Gypsy. In addition to her parents and first husband, Judy was preceded in death by two daughters, Leslie Buckley and Lisa Martin.
Inurnment will be in the Grace Episcopal Church Columbarium, Port Huron.
