Mable M Wolfe

Mable Margaret Wolfe, 88, of Clyde Township, died Wednesday, August 13, 2025 as the result of an automobile accident.

She was born July 18, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Alex and Emily VanThornout. She married Arnold E. Wolfe on November 14, 1953 in Port Huron. He died February 8, 2008 after 54 years of marriage.

Mrs. Wolfe was a cashier at the north end Kroger for 26 years. She was a member of the YMCA Silver Sneakers and enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center. She loved wintering in Florida, baking and cooking, and sharing Sunday dinners with her family.

She is survived by four children, Ricky Wolfe, Philip Wolfe, Rhonda Wolfe and Sandra (Timothy) Cesefske; four grandchildren, Andrew Wolfe, Lee Wolfe, April (James) Summerer and Robyn (Tyler) Earles; great grandchildren, Jacob, Logan and Olive; and her beloved Pomeranian and “favorite son,” Charlie. She was preceded in death by her four siblings.

Private family services have been held at Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Clair County Council on Aging or the Blue Water Area Humane Society.
