Susan C Jaje

Susan Carol Jaje, 73, of Melvin, Michigan, died Friday, August 22, 2025.

She was born October 11, 1951 in Lambs, Michigan to the late Laura and Walter Custer Sr. After meeting in their youth, she reunited with Leonard Jaje later in life and they were married on August 9, 2010 at Brown City Park.

Susan loved to travel around the beautiful state of Michigan. She enjoyed tending to her flower beds and rock gardens and was a “collector” of many things.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard; daughter, Diane; son, Daniel; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Dennis and Bob; sister, Darlene; sister-in-law, Bernadette; brother-in-law, Thomas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two children, Jason and Cindy; three sisters, Shirley, Pat and Barb; two brothers, Kenny and Walter; and brothers-in-law, Joe and Bernard.

Private family services have been held.

Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly at a later date.
