Linda McCain

Linda Desiree McCain, 68, of Port Huron, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

She was born October 20, 1956 in Port Huron to the late Amos and Mary Dinkins. In 1992 she married Eugene T. McCain.

Linda worked as a caregiver at a group home for many years. She played softball for Sombur Tools, enjoyed fishing, watching scary movies and reading, especially comic books.

She is survived by her children, Trella Lee, LaShay Phillips and Eugene McCain Jr; 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; siblings, Broderick Dinkins and Rhonda Noble; other siblings, Todd, Aaron, and Kenny Miller, Jessica Foster and Kay Miller Wimbley; several nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends including, Ronald Phillips Sr., Rhea Kemp and DeeDee Edwards; and brother-in-law, Ron-L. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene T. McCain in 2020; her great grandson, Theo; and her sister, Doreen Dinkins.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visiting beginning at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Carl E. Miller Sr. will officiate.
