Patrick Stewart Dunsmore, 77, of Wales Township, died Thursday, September 18, 2025.

He was born June 27, 1948 in Brown City to the late Stewart and Mary Agnes Dunsmore and married Janet Rose Webb on March 9, 1968 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Emmett.

Pat was employed as a union carpenter for many years and was a longtime volunteer with the Emmett Fire Department. He loved working on his classic cars with his grandsons, and watching television, especially NASCAR and the Detroit Tigers. He had a fun personality and enjoyed joking around, and often called his family and friends just to “check in”.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Janet; three daughters, Jennifer (Mark) Harter, Lisa Schneider and Tania Dunsmore (Warren Wilson); seven grandchildren, Amanda Dunsmore, Mark Harter II (Coresea Portis), Tabitha (Brad) Miklovic, Cora Schneider, Jacob Schneider (Jordan Mullett), Gerald Schneider III (Alyssa Pavey) and Ethan (Kerryn) Dunsmore; seven great grandchildren, Gavin, Ellah, Gemmah, Corahline, Novah, Elijah and Lindy, and another great grandchild on the way; thirteen siblings, Barb (Steve) Britz, Theresa (Mike) Keegan, Karen Jezewski, Jack (Marge) Dunsmore, Bruce (Maureen) Dunsmore, Veronica Malek, Julie (John) Denomy, Paula (Rich) Cowhy, Dan (Jodi) Dunsmore, Jerry (Lynne) Dunsmore, Mark (Debbie) Dunsmore, Matt Dunsmore, and Dwight (Toni) Dunsmore; sisters-in-law, Sandee (Bill) Cunningham and Linda Hoyt; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sons, Jody and infant Patrick; grandson, Jonathon Sugg; three brothers, infant Joseph, Terry and Stewart; and brother-in-law, Donald Jezewski.

Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with funeral services at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Woody Nelson will officiate.

Graveside committal services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, September 29, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Wales Township followed by a meal.
