Frederick C Jokie

Frederick Charles Jokie, 78, of Marysville, died Friday, October 3, 2025.

He was born March 19, 1947 in Port Huron to the late Raynard and Lillian Jokie. He married Alice “Cookie” Billiet on February 12, 1972 in Marysville.

Frederick served in the U.S. Army and went on to work as a Heavy Equipment Operator with the St. Clair County Road Commission for 31 years. After retiring, he and Cookie enjoyed traveling in their motorhome, often heading up to Northern Michigan to visit family and eventually becoming snowbirds, spending seven months each year in Fort Myers. A devoted family man, Frederick was a loving father, foster father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cookie; son, Raynard (Amanda) Jokie; five grandchildren, Rachel, Allison, Raynard III, Matthew and Adrena; brother, Roy Jokie; sister, Marjorie Hull; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his foster son, Clifford Wourn Jr.; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Mary Billiet.
