William K Bowman

William Kenneth Bowman, 88. of Kimball Township, died Saturday, October 11, 2025.

He was born July 17, 1937 in Kimball Township to the late John and Hazel Bowman. He married Margaret “Penny” Chevalier on April 29, 1961.

William graduated from Marysville High School in 1956, then went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. Following his service, he was employed as a millwright with Dunn Paper for 32 years and retired in January 2000. William was a member of the B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge #343 and the American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Penny; four sons, Michael Bowman, Brian (Cindy) Bowman, Cary (Kim) Bowman and Gary (Janis) Bowman; grandchildren, Jake (Sarah) Bowman, Shane (Kandace) Bowman, Alexa (Sean) Dineen, Anthony, Bill, Benjamin, Cole, Chase and Cooper Bowman; seven great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Spencer; sisters-in-law, Ann (Pete) Schmidt; and Kathy (Ken) Shuler; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ed and Deb Scheffler. He was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Lodge of Sorrow Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Marines Corps and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery.
