Joseph J Bowers

Joseph J. Bowers, 86, of Port Huron, died Sunday, October 19, 2025.

He was born April 4, 1939 in Houghton, Michigan to the late William and Rachel Bowers.

Joseph was employed as a welder for many years prior to his retirement. A lifelong resident of Port Huron, he enjoyed boating and canoeing on the Black River. Joseph had a passion for photography and loved taking pictures of historical buildings and events. He was a longtime member of Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church where he was very helpful around the church in a variety of capacities.

He is survived by 18 nieces and nephews; and numerous great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2025 in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
