June Ann Bellefleur

June Ann (Hayman) Bellefleur, 95, of Port Huron, formerly of Marysville, died Sunday, October 19, 2025.

She was born March 2, 1930 in Grosse Pointe Farms to the late Cyril and Annie Hayman and was raised and graduated from high school in New Baltimore.

June served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After her service, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University, and later a master’s degree, both in education. She retired as an art teacher from the Port Huron Area School District in 1995.

June enjoyed cultivating and growing a variety of house and yard plants, designing home improvement projects for herself and family, and never passed up an opportunity to play Scrabble with family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Annette Kibbe, Colette Truslow, and Paul (Julia) Bellefleur; and grandchildren, Derek (Angie) Kibbe and Matthew (Brittany) Truslow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter, Ted, and Jack Hayman; and sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Mackie.

Private family services have been held and burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, New Baltimore.
