Denise M Munro

Denise Marie Munro, 67, of Port Huron, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

She was born December 7, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Ambrose S. “Joe” and Cecelia A. Orlando and graduated from St. Clemens Catholic High School in Centerline.

Denise worked as the head of cosmetology at Walgreens for many years. Her most important job and greatest joy was raising her kids and grandkids. Those grandbabies were truly her everything. Later in life, she also really enjoyed watching cooking shows on TV.

Denise is survived by her daughter, Angela (Jagger) Orlando; five grandchildren, Alice “Alana”, Isabella “Aryah”, Moses “Anthony Jr.”, Samuel “Brayden”, Karma and Jagger Jr.; siblings, Nicole (Leon) Prigmore and Michael Orlando; bonus daughter, Lakala Shoudy; Goddaughter, Amber Mccauley; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 10 years, John Munro; brother, Stephen Orlando; and sister-in-law, Diane Orlando.

Visitation will be Sunday, November 16, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. A dear family friend, Minister September Price will officiate.
