William R. "Bill" Williamson

William Robert “Bill” Williamson, 80, of Kimball, died Saturday, November 22, 2025.

He was born February 10, 1945 in Port Huron to the late Harold and Aleatha Williamson. He married Barbara Kraft on June 28, 1969 in Port Huron.

Bill served honorably in the United States Army during Vietnam. He worked as a cast iron welder at the New Haven Foundry for over 30 years prior to its closure in 2001. He was also employed with the Ford Motor Company as a mechanic and millwright. Bill was a jack-of-all trades and a self-taught plumber, electrician and carpenter. He enjoyed working on cars, attending the 4-H Fair, including the derby and rodeo, going to cruise night, playing cards, especially Euchre, and collecting coins.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara; son, Charles Williamson; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many other family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Williamson Jr.; sister, Shirley Elder; and great-granddaughter, Skylar Schulz.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 28, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
