Peggy J Buergel

Peggy Jo Buergel, 74, of Marysville, died Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

She was born May 17, 1951 in Grosse Pointe to the late Jack and Betty Campbell. She married William “Tom” Buergel on May 20, 1978 in Indian River, Michigan. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2008.

Peggy was employed as a secretary in the automotive industry for many years prior to her retirement. She loved to sew, knit, cook and bake for friends and neighbors. She was an avid animal lover.

She is survived by her sister, Candice Murray; sisters-in-law, Cindy Stoetzer and Lynn Ghesquiere; nieces, Lisa Mercer, Lynn Murray, Amanda Griffin, Rebecca Schaeffer, and Emily Granger; and longtime friend, neighbor and companion, Wayne Steinhaus.
