Denise J Dueweke

Denise Joy Dueweke, 64, of Marysville, died, Monday, December 8, 2025.

She was born September 14, 1961 in Port Huron to Betty and the late Leon Briggs. She married Russell Dueweke on March 23, 1985 in Immanuel Lutheran Church after a whirlwind 4-month romance.

Denise graduated from Marysville High School in 1979. She was employed with Huntington Bank for 30 years, first as a bank teller, and more recently in management. She loved to travel with Russell and visit the zoo with her children and grandchildren. One of Denise’s most treasured memories was dancing around the house with her dad. She cherished this so much that she continued the tradition with her grandsons.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Russell; children, Eric (Marissa), Adam and Craig Dueweke; grandchildren, Maverick, Liam, Everly and Lyla; mother, Betty Briggs; sisters, Melba Briggs and Sharon Cross; and nieces, Jessica, Jennifer, Jacklyn and Kaite. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her triplet sisters, Charlotte, Carol and Cheryl.

Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 in Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Dave DuBois will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
