Darrell L Collier

May 17th, 2025 to December 12th, 2025

Darrell Collier, 64, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, December 12, 2025. He is now reunited with the loved ones he missed, and now watching over those he leaves behind.

He was born May 17, 1961 in Farmington Hills to James and the late Judith Collier. He served in the U.S. Army for several years before becoming a mason.

Darrell was known for his love of family, big Sunday breakfasts, camping trips, movies, music, and creative projects. He shared those passions with his kids and grandkids, teaching them the same art, imagination, and hands-on skills passed down from his father Jim and his step-father George. He never missed a chance to show up - at practices, games, Boy Scouts, family events, or during the hardest moments of life. Even when times were tough, especially around the holidays, he always found a way to make Christmas and family gatherings happen.

He was a father, a papa, a son, a brother, a cousin, an uncle, a friend, and a man whose presence made an impact on everyone who knew him. Darrell lived as a true “guys’ guy,” always doing his best to smile, stay positive, and keep on rock n’ rolling through life.

Darrell is survived by his son, Joshua (Rebecca) Collier; three grandsons; his granddaughter; his father, Jim; his sister Susan; his brother Brian; many cousins, nieces, nephews; and a large circle of people who may not have been related by blood but were bonded to him by who he was in their lives and who they were in his.

A memorial visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

A scripture service be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025 in Pollock Randall Funeral Home. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

A memorial event will follow from 7:30-10:00 p.m. in the American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8, 1026 6th St., Port Huron.
