Karen F Goodmen

Karen Frances Odle Goodmen, 76, of Marysville, died Friday, December 12, 2025 from Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

She was born September 8, 1949 in Port Huron to the late Robert Sr. and Viola Odle. She married Richard Goodmen on May 3, 1968 at St. Edwards on the Lake. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2023.

Karen enjoyed going to shows and casinos. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, and puzzles.

She is survived by her two children, Scott Goodmen and Lisa (Mike) Trzasko; five grandchildren, Demetre’ Goodmen, Brandon Goodmen, Tyler Goodmen, Christina Trzasko, and Holly Trzasko; eight great grandchildren, Major, Conner, Brandon Jr., Alani, Roman, Lillian, Kamari and Neekoh; two brothers, Robert (Kim) Odle and Kevin (Cheryl) Odle; special cousin, Brian (Kim) Alexander; godchild, Stacey Goodmen; lifelong friends, Barbara and Terry MacPherson; and many K of C friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda (Edgar) Prevost and two nieces.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, December 19, 2025 in Marysville Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium.
