Daniel Provost

Daniel E. Provost, 73, of Port Huron died Saturday, December 13, 2025.

He was born March 31, 1952 to the late James Provost and Evelyn Doan.

Daniel loved being outdoors. Whether he was fishing, camping, or gardening, spending time outdoors always brought a smile to his face. He loved his many dogs throughout the years, most recently his sweet friend, Shylo. He loved playing cards, especially euchre, with friends and family.

He is survived by his girlfriend of over 30 years, Debbie Womble; five children, Eric (Angie) Remick, Tara Womble, Ronald Provost, Daniel Provost II., Sara Provost (Mike); 11 grandchildren; three siblings, Carol Gracy, Barry (Cathy) Provost, and Joseph Provost; brother-in-law, Joe Blatt; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Brenda Ross, Linda (James) Gorrell, Mary Jane Provost, Larry (Ethel) Provost, and Ronald Provost; sisters-in-law, Gayle and Mary Ellen; and brother-in-law, Thomas Gracy.

Cremation has taken place.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fort Gratiot at a later date.
