Sally A Langolf

February 19th, 1932 to December 14th, 2025

Sally Ann Langolf, 93, of Marysville, died Sunday, December 14, 2025.

She was born February 19, 1932 in Alpena to the late Knolton and Dorthy Brackenbury. She married David Langolf Jr. on June 25, 1955 in Indiana. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2008 after 53 years of marriage.

Sally was a social butterfly and especially loved playing Euchre which earned her the title of “Euchre Queen”. She was an amazing cook and an avid reader, and loved music and dancing. She was also a news junkie who loved knowing what was going on in the world. Sally took great pride in her appearance, even until the end, always making sure her hair and makeup were just right. Above all else, she was happiest when surrounded by her family.

She is survived by three children, Stephanie Bodeis, Martina (Thomas) Malone and Alan Langolf; four granddaughters, Michelle Bodeis, Amber (Truong) Trinh, Kelly (Peter) Wilsey and Jordan (Scott) Whittecar; five great grandchildren, Hannah, Leah, Joshua, Owen and Theo; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 8 siblings, Ken, Terry, Shirley, Jerry, Jack, Sue, Milton and Millie.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel, Port Huron Township. Inurnment will follow at the Woodland Columbarium. Pastor Roxie Davis will officiate.

Memorials may be made to St. Clair County Council on Aging or McLaren Hospice.
