Terry L Armstead

Terry Lynn Armstead, 56, of Smiths Creek, died Saturday, December 13, 2025.

She was born September 26, 1969 in Port Huron to the late Joan and William Brown Jr. She married Ronald Armstead II on June 15, 1991 in Smith Creek Community Church.

Terry graduated in 1988 from Marysville High School, from Baker College as a CNA, and worked for 14 years at Marwood Nursing and Rehab. She was a natural-born caregiver, who was kind, loving and had a passion for helping others, both her family and those she cared for at work. Some of her most meaningful professional moments came during the COVID pandemic, when she had the honor to hold several people’s hands in their last moments when families couldn’t be with them. Terry adored her family and cherished spending time with her kids. She served as a Boy Scout troop leader and chaperoned many Girl Scout trips when her kids were young. More recently, she enjoyed doing word searches and loved all things relating to the Pillsbury Doughboy.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ron; children, Ashley, Austin and Shayne Armstead; mother-in-law, Catherine Armstead; special nephew, Tyler Brown; and other extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Brown; and father-in-law, Ronald Armstead.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday in Marysville Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 20, 2025 in Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball.
