Laverne A Grabski

Laverne Ann Grabski, 91, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully Monday, December 22, 2025.

She was born August 6, 1934 in Detroit to the late Earl and Josephine Storey. She married the love of her life, Theodore Grabski on October 31, 1953 in Shelby Township (Utica), Michigan. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2020 after 66 years of marriage.

Along with her husband, Ted, Laverne owned and operated Maeder Plant Farm in Utica before retiring to the Port Huron area. Laverne was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her brother, Chester Storey; sister, Almeda Snediker; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Teddy; and eight siblings, Gordon, Orville, Lester, Bill, Marvin, Evelyn, Betty and Sally.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in St. Mary Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Zbigniew Zomerfeld will officiate.

Inurnment will be in Utica Cemetery, Michigan.
