Wendy E Neruda

Wendy Elizabeth Neruda, 66, of Port Huron, died Monday, December 22, 2025. She was born May 29, 1959 in Port Huron to the late William and Elizabeth Haken.

Wendy was employed at Shawmut Industries for many years before her retirement. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping and gardening and she even shot a couple turkeys during her lifetime.

She is survived by her loving husband, Chuck; son, Scott (Leanne) Haken; three stepsons; Charlie Neruda, Joe Neruda and Greg (Barb) Neruda; five grandchildren, Jacob, Olivia, Bruce, Gracie and Ethan; four siblings, Linda (Ray) Grubbs, David Haken, Frank (Barbara) Haken and Pamela Darling (Brad Goldman); many nieces and nephews; and her canine companion, Lucy. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Bill Haken and Bonnie (John) Higgins.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Inurnment will be in the Woodland Cemetery Columbarium.
