Patricia "Pat" Sakach

Patricia “Pat” Sakach, 71, of Marysville, died Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

She was born July 12, 1954 in Millersburg, Ohio. She married Charles Sakach on July 1, 1996 in Toledo, Ohio.

Patricia served in the United States Army. She baked like Martha Stewart and found joy in gardening, feeding the birds, reading mystery novels, and turtles. She loved traveling up north to Au Sable and the Upper Peninsula, especially Fall Color trips with Charles. She also cared deeply for her feline companion of 18 years, Calvin.

She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Charles; seven siblings, Llewellyn Sundheimer, Marlene Sundheimer, June Clark, Diane Dixon, Carroll Sundheimer, Dwight Sundheimer and Marion Sundheimer; uncle, Don (Rusty) Sundheimer; and longtime friend, Robin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Sakach.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 15, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visiting beginning at 10:00 a.m. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard. Shaun Laurain will officiate.

Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly.
