Kimberly E Swanson

Kimberly Elizabeth Swanson, 62, of Marysville, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2026.

She was born December 3, 1963 in Chicago, IL to Loretta and the late Peter Engle. She married Michael Swanson and they built a family together over the past 41 years.

Kimberly deeply loved children which made her a wonderful school secretary at Washington Elementary for many years. Above all, she cared for her children and grandchildren spending as much time with them as she could.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Ted Evans, Sheyna (Scott) Schnieder, and Jessica (Bruce) Bargo; grandchildren, Katelyn and Keira; her mother and adoptive father, Loretta and John James; her step-mother, Charlene Engle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Peter.

The family will hold a memorial event later this summer.
