Thomas E Grace

April 18th, 1949 to January 17th, 2026

Thomas Edward Grace, 76, of Marysville, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026.

He was born April 18, 1949 in Port Huron, Michigan to the late Edward and Mary Louise Grace.

Tom was a proud Marysville resident for more than 45 years, a community he truly considered home. He was a graduate of Port Huron Catholic High School and maintained strong ties to the Blue Water Area throughout his life.

Tom’s greatest joys were his family, his friends, and giving back to the community he loved. He had a passion for golf and hockey and was a devoted fan of all things Detroit sports. He especially enjoyed organizing and running golf outing fundraisers for Marysville sports programs and many other local charities. Those events reflected who he was, generous, community minded, and happiest when bringing people together. As Tom liked to say, “Yeah, yeah, we love golf.”

Tom met his beautiful wife, Joanne, at the Dome in Port Huron, and they were married on August 26, 1972. They shared 53 years of marriage built on love, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Tom was a devoted husband and a proud father who took immense pride in his family.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne Grace; his son, Jamie Grace; his siblings, Jerry (Cathy) Grace, Ann (Mark) Christenson, Marty (Becky) Grace and Merrilyn (Mark) Bush; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will be planning a memorial event sometime this spring or summer. Details will be shared at a later date.

The family would prefer memorial contributions be made in Tom’s memory to the charity of your choice.

Tom will be remembered for his kindness, his loyalty to friends and family, and his willingness to always show up for others. He will be deeply missed.
