Patricia E Lawrence

Patricia Elizabeth Lawrence, 90, of Fort Gratiot, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was born April 11, 1935 in Port Huron to the late Theodore and Hazel Caves. She married Donald Lawrence on February 1, 1986 in First United Church of Christ in Richmond. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2019 after 33 years of marriage.

Patricia spent many years working in the Mortgage Department at Michigan National Bank before retiring. She loved traveling with her husband, Don, with Florida being a favorite destination. At one point, she lived in California and also visited Niagara Falls. Patricia was devoted to her family and served as a caregiver for her brother, Charles.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Nancy Tosch and her family in California; long-time friend, Dorothy Teeple; her neighbors, the Eisen family; and godchildren, Ken, Kathy and Kristy Barr and their families. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles.

Funeral services and a time for memory sharing will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2026 in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. Patricia’s godson, Ken Barr will officiate.
