Charles Haase

Charles H. Haase, 91, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

He was born August 25, 1934 in Grand Rapids to the late Charles and Neva Haase. He married Barbara Mrozek on November 19, 1954 in Chicago. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2016 after 61 years of marriage.

Charles served with the United States Army in Germany. He was a music teacher with the Port Huron Area School District for 25 years before his retirement. He was also involved with arts in the community, acting with the Port Huron Little Theater.

He is survived by two grandchildren, Mark (Heather) Radatz and Meliha McCue; and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Radatz. Private family services will be held.
