Raymond H McCoy

March 1st, 1936 to January 23rd, 2026

Raymond Harold McCoy, 89, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 23, 2026.

He was born March 1,1936 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late James and Clotell (Norris) McCoy. He married Gwendolyn Mathis on September 28, 1964.

Raymond served in the U.S. Air Force and was employed by the USDA in New York as a Federal Meat Inspector and founder of RM International Resource Group. He was a member of Light of Yeshu Fellowship. He was involved in starting several International Ministries that are still going on today. He earned a “Doctor of Theology” in 2008 from Union Baptist Seminary. He enjoyed tennis, golf, and most of all spreading the word of the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Gwendolyn; three sons, Daniel (Bridget) McCoy, Gregory (Gloria) McCoy, and Glen (Julie) McCoy; 16 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Odessa McCoy; two brothers, Charles (Ruby) McCoy and James Norris; and sister and brother in-law Pearl and Ike Lang.

Private family services will be held.
