Harry E Brown Jr.

Harry Eugene Brown Jr., 80, lovingly known as “Gene” and Mr. Brown, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was born on January 10, 1946, in Port Huron to the late Frances and Harry E. Brown Sr.

Harry graduated from Marysville High School, where his athleticism was awarded for his sportsmanship in football. He loved barbequing, shooting pool, and sports (especially football).

He leaves to mourn his passing seven children - Artemesia Brown, Hubert Brown, Rufus Brown, Solomon Brown, Teura Brown, Jerusha White-Brown, and Shaka Thomas-Brown; five siblings - Margaret M. Campbell-Brown, Sherman (Jannette) Brown, Norman Brown, Alison Brown, Henry (Missy) Brown; nieces Lisa (James) Bankston, Tina Moncrief, Joy Diggins; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and special friends - Rolicka Pearson, Besse Mae Smith and Ann Jansen.

Harry was preceded in death by his mother Francis Hutchinson; father Harry Eugene Brown Sr. Sisters Patricia Joseph-Jones and Savanah (Terry) Diggins, nephew Jeffery Diggins and grandchild Erik Parker-Brown.

Graveside services will be held in the spring at Caswell Cemetery followed by a family dinner for extended family and friends. Burial will be on the family plot.
