Patricia L Shine

Patricia Lenore Shine, 65, of Marysville, died Friday, January 30, 2026.

She was born October 12, 1960, in Mount Clemens to the late James F. and Marilyn D. Shine.

Patty worked for over 40 years for Community Enterprises, most recently as Program Supervisor. A natural born “people person”, Patty was the glue that held family and friends together. She was a wonderful sister, great friend, and the very best “Aunt Fav” to her nieces and nephews. Patty had a group of high school friends that remained close after all these years, and her co-workers truly became a second family. Patty loved planning her next travel adventure, especially if it involved fun in the sun at a warm destination. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor, beautiful penmanship and love of reading.

She is survived by 5 siblings, Sherry (Bob) Thompson, Tim (Patty) Shine, Sue (Jim) Westrick, Kelly (Gerry) Cristick, and Kathy Weingartz; nieces and nephews, Zach, Josh, TJ, Scott, Tricia, Chris, Jason, Tyler, Corey, Kailey, Keaton, and Kenzie; many great nieces and great nephews; and her “adopted” niece and dear friend, Darlene. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a very special niece, Carrie Kerbrat.

Private family graveside services will be held at Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.

Details for a public event happening on Saturday, June 27, 2026 will be announced.

Memorials to Community Enterprises or Shine on Me, Inc. would be greatly appreciated, as these organizations were close to Patty’s heart.
