Delores R. Arnold, 73, of Port Huron, died Sunday, May 27, 2012.

She was born July 13, 1938 in Midland to the late Joseph and Agnes Dezewiecki. She married Jesse Arnold on June 10, 1961 in New Haven.

Mrs. Arnold retired as head baker from the Port Huron Area School District in 2004 and was famous for her cinnamon rolls. She was a 1956 graduate of Mt. Clemens High School and was a beautician in the area for 52 years. She was active with the Port Huron Host Lioness Club and traveled worldwide with the Lions. She ran the Lions Club concessions trailer in Pine Grove Park for 15 years. She enjoyed swimming with the seniors at the YMCA.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jesse; two daughters, Dawn A. Mattox of Marysville and Suzanne M. Arnold of Port Huron; three grandchildren, Allison Mattox of Florida, Joshua Mattox of Marysville and Brandan Arnold of Port Huron; two sisters, Bernadette (Richard) Marshall of Burt and Mary (Mason) Aspin of Reese; a brother, Ralph Dezewiecki of Reese; her stepmother, Claire Hauptman of West Bloomfield; two stepsisters, Robin Roberts of California and Stephanie Magid of West Bloomfield; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Visitation will be 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, May 31, 2012 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend James Pettit of Griswold Street Baptist Church will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Huron Host Lions Club.
