Terrance C. "Terry" London

Terrance Clyde “Terry” London, 85, of Marysville died Monday, February 9, 2026.

He was born April 15, 1940 in Port Huron to the late Clyde and Mary London. He married Gertrude “Ann” Jokie on June 7, 1980 in Port Huron.

Terry graduated from Port Huron High School and also attended St. Clair County Community College. Following graduation, he honorably served in the U.S. Navy for four years. Terry dedicated many years to public service as a State Representative with the State of Michigan, serving in the House of Representatives from 1984 to 1986 and 1988 to 1999. He also served a term on the St. Clair County Board of Commissioners. He was both a cash crop and dairy farmer, was a customer service representative with Detroit Edison for 35 years, and also owned and operated London’s Deli for many years. Terry was active in the community including work with the March of Dimes, Visiting Nurses Association, Clyde Township baseball, Port Huron Area Jaycees, was on the board of directors for the Blue Water Festival, charter member of the Marysville Morning Optimist Club, and chairman of the St. Clair County Republican Party. He was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ann; children, Jeffrey (Francine) London and Lisa (Kirk Hardy) London; grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Kramp; step-children, Sheri (Wally) Bakko, Shelly (Scott) Dickinson and Sean (Donna) Jokie; step grandchildren, Shereena, Skylar and Sable; sister, Constance “Connie” Johnston; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary London; and step-mother, Lillian London.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026 in First United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend David Gladstone will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
