Gerald R Brady
Gerald Raymond Brady, 91, of Marysville, died Wednesday, February 11, 2026.
He was born October 12, 1934 in Detroit to the late Charles and Bertha Brady. He married Joan Misiolek on October 20, 1956 in Detroit.
Gerald was a UAW Representative with General Motors for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, going for car rides and playing on his heavy equipment. Gerald was a true character, who never passed up an opportunity to have fun. Gerald honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion J. Edward Mallorey Post #449 and Walter F. Bruce VFW Post #1146 in St. Clair Shores
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Joan; children, Michael Brady, Peggy Brady (Denny Smith), Timothy Brady, Kathleen (David) Kunkle, Kevin (Donna) Brady, Karen (Paul) Maceroni and Molly (David) Hickey; daughter-in-law, Donna Brady; 13 grandchildren, including Kristin who was his caregiver for several years; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
Graveside services with military honors will be held this summer in Riverlawn Cemetery.
