Deborah L "Debbie" Samson

Deborah Lynn “Debbie” Samson, 68, of Port Huron, died Thursday, February 12, 2026.

She was born April 17, 1957 in Glendale, California to the late William and Betty Samson.

Debbie worked at Rex Precision Manufacturing Inc. until retiring in 2017 to care for her great-granddaughter. Family meant everything to her, and she cherished time with her grandchildren and stayed closely connected with her extended family, especially her brother, Ed.

She was a hard worker who enjoyed shopping at garage sales and sharing her treasures with loved ones. Debbie looked forward to the annual St. Clair River Float Down and loved doing puzzles and playing Rummy. She was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia. She was unapologetically herself, honest, direct, and always willing to tell it like it was.

She is survived by her children, Billie Jo (Steven) Nichols and Anthony Myers; grandchildren, Tyler Sopha, Raquel Parmann and Matthew Alexander Jr.; great granddaughter, Layla Toole; siblings, Donna Landschoot, Dwayne (Theresa) Samson, Patty (Robert) Dingman, Frederick (Ginger) Hall, Jane Harvill, and Amy (Joshua) Seney; many nieces and nephews, including special niece, Stephanie (Brian) Gerstenberger; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her son, Montie Myers Jr.; step-mother, Kay Arlene; step-father, John O’Conner; siblings, William Samson Jr., John Samson, Allen Samson and Sandra Clark; and aunt, Margaret Carr.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, February 15, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Reverend Scott Babin will officiate.
