Leland A "Lee" Darnall

May 24, 1952 to February 19, 2026

Leland Alan “Lee” Darnall, 73, of Port Huron left this world to go home on Thursday, February 19, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born May 24, 1952 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas to the late Amon and Evelee Darnall. He married Nancy A. Taylor on September 8, 1973 in Chicago.

Lee served in the U.S. Army for 12 years, during which he was stationed in several states and spent a year in Turkey working with NATO. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, family gatherings, telling bad dad jokes and was actively involved with the American Legion. He shed a bright light on everyone he was around and touched so many lives throughout his journey here.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Nancy; two sons, James (Trisha) and Sean (Josefina) Darnall; granddaughter, April Darnall; sister, Linda (Danny) Rose; sister-in-law, Sandra Fay (Amon) Darnall; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Amon Darnall, Sandra Kay Darnall, Sue Parr and Terry Darnall.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Roxie Davis will officiate. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Burial will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly on Friday, February 27, 2026 at 2:30 p.m.
