She was born September 8, 1953 in Joliet, IL to the late Benedict and Dorothy Gerat. She married Roy A. Saunders Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Roy; her son, Richard; her stepson, Adam; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.
