Michael David Guenther, 52, of Algonac, died Saturday, February 28, 2026.

He was born January 18, 1974 in San Antonio, Texas.

Michael enjoyed watching T.V. at home, building models, caring for his animals and most of all, spending time with his son, Shawn.

He is survived by his mother, Marlene Guenther; partner, Beth Ospalski; son, Shawn Guenther; sister, Alberta (Dawn) Young; brother, Richard Rogers (fiancé, Brenda Nix); several nieces and nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and Beth’s extended family. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Guenther Sr.; and brother, Charles Guenther Jr.

A memorial service will be held at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Algonac at a later date.
