Frederick Robert Yoohs, 70, of Marysville, died Sunday, March 1, 2026.

He was born July 31, 1955 in Royal Oak to the late Robert I. and Dorothy C. Yoohs, part of a close, loving and supportive family.

Fredd earned the rank of Eagle Scout as a teenager, graduated from Romeo High School, and then North Central Michigan College in Petoskey. He took great pride in his career as a respiratory therapist, spending many years and eventually retiring from St. John Hospital in Detroit. Fredd loved living in Marysville, watching the ever-changing landscape of the St. Clair River, and spending time on the water in his kayak. Always a social butterfly, he enjoyed nothing more than being with his family and many friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Joseph Yoohs and Susan (Mark) Champine; sister-in-law, Karen Yoohs; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Yoohs; and sister, Sharon VanAssche.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 in St. Christopher Catholic Church, Marysville, with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend James Arwardy will officiate.

Burial will be in the spring at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Mount Clemens.
