Darlene Marie Weymouth, 75, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

She was born August 31, 1950 in St. Clair to the late Alveretta and Jay Weymouth Sr. She grew up surrounded by the love of her siblings, who were her lifelong companions, confidants and sources of joy. She carried the lessons she learned throughout her life, enriching the lives of everyone around her.

A courageous and adventurous soul, Darlene, proudly served as a U.S. Merchant Marine, embracing the world with the same resilience and grace that defined her every day. Her love for life was as vast as the seas she sailed.

Darlene was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her home and heart were always open, full of warmth, laughter and unconditional love. She made every family member feel cherished, and her guidance and wisdom will continue to live on with her family. Darlene enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and spending time by the water.

She is survived by her daughter, Angel Johnston; son, Jed Steven (Sarah) Johnston; nine grandchildren, Tamra, Tara, Tyler, Tamika, Tyanna, Ashley, Kayleigh, Madison and Jordan; twelve great grandchildren, Karsen, Abel, Adrianna, Amelia, Preston, Karter, Braxton, Namiko, Debonaire, Onyx, Anarah, Eden and Emberlynne; siblings, Diane, Denise, Jay Jr. and Denny; nieces and nephews, Shelly, Robbie, Marci, Scott, Lisa, Jameson, Ally, Bruk and Taylor; many great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Dawn Weymouth; great grandson, Tatum; and nephew, Michael.

A memorial event will be held.
