James E Radatz

James E. Radatz, 55, of Fort Gratiot, went home to be with the Lord Friday, March 20, 2026 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer surrounded by the love of his family. Jim fought his cancer with the same quiet strength and determination in which he lived his life.

Jim was born April 10, 1970 to James A. and Mary Kay Radatz. He graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1988. On November 21, 1992 he married Angela Stein.

Jim was a lifelong builder and also worked for Blue Water Glass. He was widely known as one of the hardest-working and most well-respected men around. He was a devoted Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, and Papa, always placing the needs of his family above his own. His character will leave a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his loving wife Angie, and his proudest accomplishment and legacy, his four children: James T. (Chantal) Radatz, Alyson Radatz, Jana Radatz (Jake Bourassa) and Aimee Radatz; mother, Mary Kay Radatz; father, James A. Radatz; mother-in-law Kathy Stein; two grandchildren, Brooks and Casey Bourassa; grandmother-in-law Joyce Sheffer; two sisters, Kim (Joe) Randolph and Tami Morris; two brothers-in-law, Gerald (Stacie) Stein and Rob (Christina) Stein; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law Thomas Stein.

Visitation will be from 2 to 7 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Colonial Woods Missionary Church, Pastor Phil Wetstone will officiate. Pallbearers will be James T. Radatz, Gerald Stein, Tom Foley, Jamie Bell, Tim Wahl, and Tom Wilson.

A Private graveside service will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
