Robert H Bowman

Robert H. Bowman, 89, of Fort Gratiot, died Sunday, March 22, 2026.

He was born December 18, 1936 in Midland to the late Wilbur and Maime Bowman.

Robert served in the U.S. Army. He was employed at Prestolite for 20 years and then spent 20 years working in maintenance for the Marysville School District before his retirement. Bob loved baseball. He was a pitcher in Port Huron softball leagues for many years, and it was one of his favorite things to participate in. He was an Avid Miami Dolphins fan.

He is survived by his son, Bill (Patty) Bowman; five grandchildren, who meant the world to him, Brandi (Emerson) Putnam, Luc (Amanda) Bowman, Bret (Becca) Bowman, Nicole Bowman and Brianna (Josh) Frost; and Brandi and Luc’s mother, Lynn Bowman. He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Bowman.

Private family services will be held.
