Peter F Whipple

Peter Ford Whipple, 76, of Jeddo, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 23, 2026.

He was born August 22, 1949 in Port Huron. From a young age, Pete had a great love of nature and helping others, leading him to become an Eagle Scout and avid camper. Always the consummate salesman, Pete joked he could sell anything. From Howards Furniture and JCPenney, where he met the love of his life, Linda, to being the “sample guy” at Sam’s Club later in life, Pete’s smile and gregarious laugh drew people in.

Pete and Linda married on October 7, 1978 and formed a bond that saw them through the difficulties of Pete’s brain condition as well as the joys of 47 years of marriage. They enjoyed traveling and tending to their small farm.

Pete is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Karri (Willow) Alldredge; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Doris Garbutt.

Visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2026 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, 2026 in St. Paul Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Branden Hunt will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
